CONTACTSan Francisco Airport Rebrand

The San Francisco Airport is unique in that it is owned and controlled by the city, not a private corporation. Thus the airport houses a lot of local businesses, advertises local San Francisco attractions, and is focused on making a more eco-friendly changes that will benefit the city residents. After my deep level of research into SFO, a place I have been to once, I am now certainly an expert and know about every attraction you can go to in San Francisco, the airport. Did you know they have a museum? An area for yoga? It almost makes you not want to see the rest of San Francisco! My rebrand focuses on the forward progress of SFO’s sustainability and community initiatives with a forward-facing jet plane. And sometimes it faces up too, which is the direction airplanes are supposed to go. The green and blue palette represents the connection between the Earth and sky, joined together by the San Francisco skyline. Furthermore, I proposed a brand activation of a farmer’s market that showcased the local businesses within the airport, with its own set of chunky, fun graphics. I originally had the idea that this hypothetical farmer’s market should be held directly outside of the airport, but the direct area outside of the airport is a highway I believe. So. Golden Gate Park it is.
